I finally decided to make a blog...I've had websites in the past, but blogging seems to be the in thing, so here I am. :) But seriously...the real reason for this blog is to chronicle my life as a new-father-in-the-making. Twas about a month and a half ago that I found out my fiance was pregnant...came as a bit of a shock, as it wasn't planned, but I chose to embrace the idea regardless. So up until this past weekend, the news of the baby-to-be was a big secret. Laurie made me promise not to tell anyone till she had went to the doctors. That doctor's appointment was last Thursday. This past weekend we chose to tell my parents and family about our upcoming miracle of life. They all are quite excited...and I'm happy now knowing I can share this experience with them. The Laurie is at about 10 weeks at this point. The first ultrasound is coming in the next few weeks.
